The RETAIL IS DETAIL program assesses the retail environment. Trained auditors examine the store, rating on key aspects such as:

  • Branding – compliance throughout store internally and externally
  • External appearance - signage, windows, entrances, lighting
  • Internal appearance - signage, lighting, glass, walkways and aisles
  • Staff and customer service - uniforms, badges, shoes, pens, presentation, greeting, sufficient staff, disciplines
  • Merchandise – stock presentation; labelled, stocked, faced, pulled forward, no hand labels, testers, KVIs in stock
  • Marketing – standards; all catalogue lines set up, ticketed, current promo POS visible, accurate, clean, all gondola ends, bins, counter units stocked, priced, ticketed, presented
  • Buying zones – all products stocked; faced and pulled forward, top sellers known to staff, all skus have shelf ticket labels, fixtures clean, safe and presentable
  • Register area – return policy and bag inspection signs displayed; counter floor organised and tidy
  • Storeroom - no broken packs or damaged stick, store filled daily, top lines 100% in stock
  • Office - clean, tidy, organised and secure, email checked daily, all rosters complete and up to date
