Mystery Shopping Online Applications - Open to Residents of Australia and New Zealand

You will need to complete the Registration process by clicking on Register on the login page of the SME Shopper Portal. You will receive confirmation of your application submission, after that you will receive confirmation of acceptance by email a few days later. 

About becoming a HOED Mystery Shopper

For various administrative and legal reasons HOED can only accept applications for Australian and New Zealand shoppers. Before applying online please ensure that you have read all information applicable to Mystery Shopping in your country available from the Shopper Information page.

The process for applying to become a Shopper varies based on the country that you reside. Please make sure that you apply only once and that you apply in the correct country.

HOED Mystery Shopping Australia

These instructions are for Australian Mystery Shopper applications only. If you wish to apply in New Zealand please see the section below.

The first step of the application process is to complete the Registration process by clicking on Register on the login page of the SME Shopper Portal. The online Registration form consists of a number of questions relating to personal information including your name, address, phone numbers, email address, user name, password etc.

Once the form has been completed and submitted you will receive an immediate message indicating that your application has been received. Within a few days you will receive an email confirming whether your application has been successful and validating that your User Name and Password willallow you access to the SME Shopper Portal.

HOED is currently working towards ISO 20252 accreditation, which means that you will be required to read and familiarise yourself with the Mystery Shopper training manual which is available for download via the Home Page of the SME Shopper Portal (which you will have access to after your confirmed application). You will be required to sign a declaration confirming that you have completed this task.

Before you can be paid for any work that you might carry out you will be required to furnish us with a number of documents all of which are accessable form the Home Page of the SME Shopper Portal. These include the Training Declaration, Bank Account Details form, and a Statement by a Supplier.

HOED Mystery Shopping New Zealand

These instructions are for New Zealand Mystery Shopper applications only. If you wish to apply in Australia please see the section above.

To apply as a HOED Mystery Shopper in New Zealand fill out the New Zealand Online Application Form. After filling out the form you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your application, to confirm you need to click the link in the confirmation e-mail. After your application has been confirmed it will be e-mailed to our New Zealand office and they will contact you regarding further specifics.
